Program features include a meet-and-greet session with coaches, student-athletes and Athletics staff; an opportunity to learn about the Golden Bear athletics programs and the life of the college athlete; explore the University's athletics facilities (weather permitting), including a focused tour of the Alumni Healthful Living Center; and learn about how student-athletes are supported in and out of the classroom.
The schedule includes the Athletics Open House from 8:30 to 9 a.m. in the Campus Center for registration and refreshments; General Welcome from 9-9:30 a.m. in Rivers Memorial Hall for the Athletics Program Overview with Director of Athletics Dr. Michael Theulen and Assistant Athletics Director Erin Sullivan; and Entering the World of College Athletics Session from 9:30-10:15 a.m. in Rivers Memorial Hall and other campus locations to visit with coaches, learn about student-athlete life and tour WNE athletic facilities.

In a short time, WNE Athletics has established a Tradition of Success that includes, in part, over 100 academic all-conference selections in each of the past two seasons, 43 NCAA Division III tournament appearances across nine sports since 2001, 58 All-America citations since 2005, and 14 Commonwealth Coast Conference championships in just the last six years. In addition, WNE student-athletes are noted for their citizenship and volunteerism.
