A senior libero for the women's volleyball team, Kucharski was a key contributor in her team's defeat of Westfield State this past Friday. After a 3-0 loss to Babson in the first of the back-to-back matches that night, the Golden Bears bounced right back and defeated Westfield State 3-0, behind her 13 digs. Kucharski totaled 39 digs in three matches during the week.
A business management major, Kucharski leads the team with 286 digs on the season, which is also third in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
A senior running back, Cook has proven to be an all-around threat as the Golden Bears have jumped out to a school-record 4-0 start this season. In a 22-7 New England Football Conference victory over Coast Guard this past Saturday, Cook led all players with a career-high 246 rushing yards. Another tremendous rushing performance has moved Cook into second place on the school's all-time rushing chart with 3,325 yards--77 shy of the school record. Cook also had one rushing touchdown, which was his sixth of the season to lead the NEFC, to give him 41 via the run and 42 overall--both program benchmarks--to become Western New England's all-time leading scorer with 254 points.
A criminal justice-criminal investigation major, Cook has 463 rushing yards this season, which is an average of 115 yards per game, and he also has six touchdowns.
