Kasey Cameron and Troy Remillard Receive WNE Student-Athlete of the Week Recognition
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--Freshman men's soccer forward Troy Remillard (Palmer High School) and senior women's volleyball outside hitter Kasey Cameron (Reading Memorial High School) have been named the Western New England University Student-Athletes of the Week.

Remillard was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26. He scored his first collegiate goal on Oct. 21 against Nichols College, which tied the game 1-1 at the 60th minute. Western New England went on to tie 2-2 against the second-place Bison. Remillard has appeared in all 19 of the team's games, with two starts and 11 shots on the season.

Cameron was named the CCC Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26. She had a fantastic week in conference play as the Golden Bears went 2-0. She led the team with 4.14 kills per set, a .354 attack percentage, and four service aces. She displayed her best work in a 3-1 victory over Salve Regina on Oct. 22 at home, where she had a career- and match-high 19 kills and 10 digs. In a 3-0 road win over Wentworth on the 25th, she had 10 kills, four digs, and four service aces. Cameron has a .204 hitting percentage on 209 kills, ranking second on the team, for her senior season.
