SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (January 17, 2019) – Western New England University placed 84 student-athletes on the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Fall Academic All-Conference Team, which was released today by the league office.
In order to be recognized as a member of the Academic All-Conference Team, an athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore academic status.
Western New England's 2018 CCC champion football team led the way for the Golden Bears with 29 honorees, more than any other school that sponsors the sport.
