Dave Proulx was named Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance, Facilities and Scheduling in July 2017.
Proulx is responsible for all aspects of athletic facility scheduling, working with University and Athletic Department staff to coordinate, setup, maintenance, and operations of athletic and recreational sport facilities.
Proulx also serves as Western New England's Director of Compliance, supervising all aspects of NCAA, University and Departmental compliance related NCAA membership. Additionally, he works with coaches to assist in coordination of team schedules, events, and roster management.
In addition to his role as an Assistant Athletic Director, Proulx has served as an assistant coach on the Western New England women's basketball staff since the 2009-10 season. In that capacity, he is responsible for scouting, on-court coaching, practice preparation and recruiting.
Proulx served as an athletic department intern during the 2009 spring semester and was responsible for contest management, scheduling, compliance and budgeting. He also worked with the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Prior to joining the Western New England staff, Proulx was a girls' varsity assistant coach at Agawam High School. He was the head coach of the 2009 and 2011 West girls' basketball team that won gold medals at the Massachusetts Bay State Games.
Proulx is a 2006 graduate of Boston University where he earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology. While at BU, he was a manager of the men's basketball team from 2004-2006. He earned a master of education degree in sport management from Springfield College in December 2012.
Proulx lives in East Longmeadow, MA with his wife Michelle and daughter Avery.
