Kelli Arsenault enjoyed one of the best careers by a student-athlete at Western New England establishing herself as one of the premier swimmers in the region.

She was a seven-time Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) champion who finished first or second in all individual events in four seasons. Kelli was undefeated in the backstroke for two years, placing only second twice during her career.

The highlight of Kelli’s career came when she became the first Golden Bear to receive the prestigious Kay Fromer Award for scoring the most points in four years at the New England intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association Championship.

Kelli was the team MVP as a freshman and senior, and winner of the Coaches Award as a junior. She was a four-time All-New England performer who placed in the top six at the NEISDA Championship for four years in all her events.

Kelli holds numerous school records and is the program’s all-time points leader (779).

Her accomplishments also extended to the classroom where Kelli majored in Social Work and was a four-time GNAC Academic Team selection.

Kelli is a native of Branford, Connecticut.
