Marcie Bruder, a right-handed pitcher, compiled a 61-20 career record and a 1.41 earned-run-average with 535 strikeouts in 522 innings. She was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pitcher-of-the-Year and GNAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2002 and 2003. Marcie also was a three-time All-GNAC selection. The Keene, NH native was selected the school’s Coca-Cola Female Athlete-of-the-Year in 2002. Marcie was the program’s first 20-game winner after posting a 22-5 mark her junior season. She was a two time New England Intercollegiate Softball Coaches Association (NEISCA) Division III All-Star. Marcie also was selected to the 2003 NCAA Division III New England Regional All-Tournament squad and was the ECAC Division III New England Player-of-the-Year. She was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) while at Western New England College. An International Studies major with a minor in Spanish, she was named to the national Verizon Softball Academic All-America Team in 2002 and was a GNAC Academic Team honoree for four years.
