Ron Dias

Ron Dias, a native of Ludlow, MA, is in his 15th season as the Golden Bears’ women’s soccer coach. During his tenure, he has compiled a 178-101-15 record for a remarkable 63.1 winning percentage. His teams have captured five Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament titles and appeared in four NCAA Division III Championships. In his second season in 1995, Ron led the Golden Bears to a 12-8 record for their first winning season in 10 years and the program’s first GNAC Tournament title. Three years later, Western New England College posted a school-record 20-2 mark in 1998, which included the ECAC Division III Metro Tournament crown. The following year Western New England College won its second GNAC Tournament title and became the first women’s squad in school history to participate in the NCAA Division III Tournament. Western New England College joined The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) in 2007 and compiled a 13-6-3 record, which included a 10-1-2 mark for second place. Ron was named TCCC Coach-of-the-Year, which was his third conference honor after being selected the GNAC Coach-of-the-Year in 2001 and 2002.
