Continuing the fine tradition of outstanding soccer players at Western New England, Don Nault was a dominant sweeper during his four years with the Golden Bears.
A native of West Springfield, Massachusetts, he helped lead his team to 20 victories and a 61.4 winning percentage in his first two seasons.
Don was sidelined early in his junior year with an injury, but returned to help Western New England capture eight wins in its last 11 matches while advancing to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Area 8 Championship.
Don served as a team captain in both 1979 and 1980, and was an All-New England selection both seasons.
His hard work and determined style of play paid off when he was named to the NAIA All-America Team as a senior.
Don earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and returned to receive a master’s degree in Finance in 1988.
He now resides in Longmeadow, Massachusetts with his wife Chris and their three children Dan (21), Kelly (20), and Kim (17).
