Alumni Healthful Living Center

The 123,000-square-foot Alumni Healthful Living Center (AHLC) offers students a place to enrich their campus experiences beyond the classroom. The facility, which opened in 1993, features a 2,000-seat gymnasium for the Golden Bears men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball teams, wellness center, aerobics room, eight-lane pool and recreation area, elevated indoor track, racquetball and squash courts, practice courts, weight room and varsity weight room, and wrestling room. In addition, spring sport teams can conduct practices indoors in the fieldhouse portion of the AHLC during inclement weather. The AHLC also houses a complete state-of-the-art sports medicine area, classroom/meeting and storage space, intramurals competition, and athletics and physical education offices.

Western New England University's Downes Athletic Hall of Fame is also located in the AHLC building.
