The University Division All-Stars, comprised of the region's top NCAA Division I players, will take on the College All-Star squad, which is made up by New England's top Division II and III players.
Buckley's other postseason awards include all-region by two organizations, All-NEIBA Third Team and American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-New England Third Team.
Buckley, who majored in criminal justice, had his best season in a Western New England uniform with his 2015 senior campaign. He was named All-Commonwealth Coast Conference for the second time in his career, earning first-team accolades.
H led the Golden Bears with career bests of .357 batting average, .424 on-base percentage and four sacrifice flies. He also paced the team with 13 doubles, three home runs, 30 runs batted in, 68 total bases, 16 extra-base hits and .527 slugging. His CCC ranks included first in doubles, sacrifice flies, fourth in RBI, hits (46), total bases, slugging, fifth in batting, and ninth in homers.
Buckley ended his four-year collegiate career with 12 home runs, 41 doubles and 118 RBI, which lists tied for third, tied for sixth and 10th, respectively, on WNE's all-time charts.
