Paige Hebert Named Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA DIII Scholar of Distinction, 11 Other Golden Bears Recognized

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 20, 2017) –
Twelve members of the Western New England University field hockey team have been named to the Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad, it was announced on Thursday (March 16).

Sophomore Paige Hebert (Enfield, Conn.) highlighted Western New England's list of honorees with her selection as a Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Scholar of Distinction. Hebert is among 208 student-athletes representing 103 different schools to be recognized as a Scholar of Distinction for achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2016-17 academic year.

Additionally, 11 other Golden Bears earned spots on the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA DIII National Academic Team for posting a GPA of 3.30 or higher, including:
