Tim Larocca enters his eighth season as an assistant coach at his alma mater. One of the top players in Western New England men's soccer history, Larocca earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing in 2007.

The East Longmeadow, Mass., native was a four-year starter, two-time captain, and NSCAA All-American during his outstanding career as a Golden Bear. He is the program’s first-ever three-time NSCAA All-New England selection.

Larocca led the 2005 and 2006 teams to back-to-back NCAA Sweet 16 appearances and compiled a cumulative record of 60-23-7 for a .600 winning percentage during his four years.

Larocca joined the Utica College men’s soccer staff from 2007-09, and helped lead the Pioneers to their winningest season in program history and an Eastern College Athletic Conference Upstate Championship Tournament berth in 2007. 

Larocca played one season of professional soccer for the Western Mass Pioneers in 2008, and served as an assistant coach for the Pioneers in 2011.

He has extensive coaching experience at the club level having served as the Director of Coaching at Soccer Plus FC and Fieldplayer Academy Director at Soccer XS in Simsbury, Conn.

Larocca has obtained the USSF “A” coaching license and the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
