The Golden Bears fell to Amherst College, 3-0, on Friday night, before defeating Gallaudet University and Suffolk University by matching 3-1 scores on Saturday.

(September 1, 2017) – The Western New England University volleyball team opened its season on Friday evening with a pair of matches at the University of California Santa Cruz Slug Fest. The Golden Bears dropped the opener to the host Banana Slugs, 3-1 (25-12, 22-25, 25-18, 25-15), before falling to No. 21 nationally ranked Elmhurst College, 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-13).
