Women's Swimming Celebrates Senior Day Against Plymouth State

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (March 13, 2021) – The Western New England University women's swimming team celebrated senior day today during their virtual meet against Plymouth State. Plymouth State collected 134 points while the Golden Bears collected 108 points.

Junior Avery Hill took first place in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 36.24 (personal best time) and in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:20.46. Senior Sarah Bartlett collected 16 points for the meet, including taking first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:15.33.

Senior Hannah Manolis secured a personal best time of 2:31.50 in the 200-yard freestyle. Junior Hannah Martin swam a personal best 36.24 in the 50-yard backstroke while first-year Haley Peacock swam a personal best time of 1:18.15 in the 100-yard IM.
