SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (October 11, 2023) – The Western New England women's tennis team fell on home court on Wednesday afternoon, dropping a 7-2 contest to the Fighting Scots of Gordon College.

How it Happened:
WNE would be able to come out with one win in the doubles round when
Dani Martinez and
Gabrielle Tirkot came away with an 8-6 win in the third doubles position.
The Golden Bears would drop five of six singles matches, with
Sydney Shepard coming away with the lone victory for the Golden Bears in the sixth singles position, defeating Gordon's Hannah Hovda 3-6, 6-3, 10-7.
