BEVERLY, Mass. (October 2, 2023) – The Western New England women's tennis team could not find the winning ways on Monday afternoon in CCC play, falling 9-0 to Endicott College on the road.
How it Happened:
WNE would fall short in doubles to put themselves behind 3-0 early in the match.
Gabrielle Tirkot and
Catie Seklecki would fall 8-2, the closest doubles match for the Golden Bears.
Western New England would force two three set singles matches as
Catie Seklecki fell 6-1, 2-6, -6-10 while Sydney Shpard would drop a 7-5, 6-7 (7-5), 10-6 match. The Golden Bears would fight in all matches on the afternoon, though would ultimetly fall 9-0 in favor of Endicott.
