High School: Earned four varsity letters apiece in cross country, indoor- and outdoor track at Nonnewaug... captained those squads during his senior season...qualified for the state championships in both sports... graduated in 2014.
Personal: Born Dmitry John Gulak on Oct. 16, 1995 in Stavropol, Russia...parents are Linda and John...is a certified track & field official in the state of Connecticut...has a brother, Yuri...mechanical engineering major.
