Entering the Season: Three-year letterwinner and part-time starter...one of seven seniors on the roster...also played soccer for the Golden Bears, serving as a two-year team captain who earned 2014 Commonwealth Coast Conference co-Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year and honorable mention all-conference honors last fall. 

2014 (Junior Year): Posted career highs of 10 runs scored and three runs batted in during 24 appearances...two-time National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) Scholar All-American and Academic All-CCC team member...made 24 appearances, mostly as a pinch-runner.

2013 (Sophomore Year): Named to the NFCA Scholar All-America and Academic All-CCC teams...played in a career-best 29 games.

2012 (Freshman Year): Started in 21 of 26 games played.

High School: Played soccer (4 letters), basketball (4) and softball (2) at Groton Fitch...captained soccer team during junior and senior years...was a two-time all-Eastern Connecticut Conference first team softball star...served as a team captain in 2011...also was twice named all-area in that sport...also was a basketball senior captain...helped Fitch to a Connecticut Class LL state softball championship in 2009...graduated in 2011.

Personal: Born Avery Donyell Clark on Feb. 9, 1993 in New London, Conn....daughter of Robert Jr. and Linda Clark...siblings are Briana and Brandon...enjoys all sports... favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy...wants to get a doctoral degree...member of the WNE Student-Athlete Advisory Committee...also plays soccer for the Golden Bears and is a two-year team captain...majoring in psychology.
