Biography

2015 (Junior Year): Named to All-CCC first team after hitting .289 with 11 doubles (T-4th in CCC), three home runs and 27 RBI (T-6th in CCC)...also scored 18 runs, drew 14 walks, and was hit by 14 pitches (T-5th in CCC)...went 3-for-3 with a grand slam and an RBI single, powering WNE to an 8-0 win over Oswego State in its season-opener (3/14)...posted a season-high eight-game hitting streak from 4/6-4/15, a stretch that included three hits and five RBI in a doubleheader sweep of UNE (4/12)...went 3-for-9 with two doubles and two RBI as the Golden Bears swept two games from Springfield (4/24)...singled in Western New England's first two NCAA Tournament games against WPI (5/8) and MCLA (5/9).

2014 (Sophomore Year): Raised her batting average by 70 points and nearly doubled her hit production from her first season with the team...also established season career highs of three doubles, 27 hits, 11 runs batted in, 32 total bases, .311 slugging and .306 on-base percentage...was hit by a pitch four times to rank fourth in the Commonwealth Coast Conference...twice had a career-high three hits, the last coming on April 23 in the second game of a doubleheader at Wesleyan-Conn. (going 3-for-5)...ranked first in the CCC in completing nine double-plays...led the conference in put-outs and total chances and was ninth in fielding percentage...hit first career triple on May 2 against Roger Williams during the CCC Tournament as part of an 8-0 win.

2013 (Freshman Year): Started in 42 of the team's 46 games...made WNE debut in a March 16 split-doubleheader against William Paterson and Benedictine, recording her first collegiate hit to go along with a pair of walks in the nightcap.

High School: Played varsity softball, field hockey and basketball for four years at Biddeford...softball captain during her junior and senior years...played in three All-Star games...earned Tiger Pride Award for all three sports...earned team MVP, Coaches and Most Dedicated awards for softball also captained field hockey and basketball squads as a senior...named Most Defensive Player and Coaches awards for field hockey.

Personal: Born Heather Rita Fecteau on March 2, 1994 in Biddeford, Maine...parents are Mike and Cheryl... has two siblings, Kyle and Briana...Favorites: TV show--Grey’s Anatomy; pro team--MLB's Boston Red Sox; athlete--Dustin Pedroia; food--seafood...major is pharmacy.
