Biography

2014 (Senior Year): All-Commonwealth Coast Conference Second Team outfielder...given the WNE Iron Bear Award (recognizing the individual's achievements, dedication and commitment to the Golden Bear softball program over her four years)...WNE Student-Athlete of the Week (April 9)...ended her career with 214 hits for second on the Golden Bears' all-time list...paced WNE with a .417 batting average that ranked seventh in the league...topped the CCC with a career-best 19 stolen bases...came in second with 60 hits, including 16 in seven postseason games to end the season...recorded 200th hit on April 27 against Gordon in the CCC tournament.

2013 (Junior Year): Postseason accolades included National Fastpitch Coaches' Association All-New England Second Team, Eastern College Athletic Conference All-New England First Team and All-CCC First Team...led the CCC with career highs of .458 average and 65 hits...also ranked second in the conference with 80 total bases and .563 slugging percentage, both personal records...led WNE with 20 multiple-hit games...had a 12-game hitting streak from March 20 to April 4...was 24-for-46 (.522) with two outs...hit .526 and slugged .667 in CCC games only.

2012 (Sophomore Year): Selected All-CCC Honorable Mention after hitting .339, one home run and driving in 15 runs...WNE Female Athlete-of-the-Week (Mar. 21).

2011 (Freshman Year): Made an immediate impact in the Golden Bear lineup, starting 42 of 43 games played...led WNE freshmen and third overall with a .355 batting average...led the team with three triples and 10 sacrifice hits...CCC Rookie of the Week for Apr. 10 after she batted .500 (9-for-18), drove in eight runs and scored seven times during the previous seven-day period...named WNE Female Athlete of the Week on May 4.

High School: Lettered three times each in softball and soccer at Wahconah Regional...softball team captain in 2010...two-time All-Berkshire and All-North in 2009-10.

Personal: Born on Feb. 10, 1993 in Pittsfield, Mass...parents are Dan and Mary...has three siblings: Morgan, Megan and Justine...hopes to go to graduate school to prepare for a career in counseling student-athletes enjoys watching TV Favorites: TV show--One Tree Hill; pro team--Boston Red Sox of MLB; athlete--Abby Wambach; food--sushi...major is sport management.
