Biography

2015 (Junior Year): Academic All-CCC selection...appeared in 13 games, scoring a run in Western New England's 10-2 win at Wentworth (4/19)...also drew a walk in the Golden Bears' 5-4 win at Springfield (4/24).

2014 (Sophomore Year): Played in seven games...notched first career hit on April 2 in the second game of a doubleheader against Roger Williams.

2013 (Freshman Year): Appeared in seven contests...made collegiate debut on March 16 vs. Benedictine at the National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.

High School: Lettered four times in softball at Silver Lake Regional...helped team to softball state tournament all four years, including the semifinals in her senior year... also played basketball for two seasons and received one letter in track & field.

Personal: Born Tara Marie Cabral on Feb. 3, 1994 to parents Philip and Veronica in Kingston, Mass....has two sisters: Brianna and Ashley...hopes to work in a crime lab after graduation...Favorites: movie--Pitch Perfect; actor--Leonardo DiCaprio; pro teams--MLB's Boston Red Sox, NHL's Boston Bruins and NFL's New England Patriots; food--tacos...major is forensic biology and minor is criminal justice.
