Collin Quinn

Collin Quinn M '23 was named Sports Information Director in March, 2022. Quinn will begin his third full year as the lead communications voice for WNE Athletics in 2024-2025 after spending the first six months as the Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant (August 2021-March 2022). 

Since joining Western New England, the Golden Bears have seen a significant growth in viewership to WNE's social media channels, (X, formally Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook).  Quinn can also be credited for the change of website providers in the Summer of 2023, helping Western New England Athletics land a deal with SIDEARM Sports. The traffic to the new wnegoldenbears.com has since doubled in over a year. 

Quinn comes to the Golden Bears with extensive athletic communications experience having been the Sports Information Assistant at Keene State College from 2019-2021. While at Keene State, Quinn helped create and produce all video content for the athletic department while also providing statistical support and writing post-game recaps. Quinn helped serve as a communications assistant for hosting the NCAA Division III men's soccer tournament, as well as NHIAA high school boy's and girl's basketball tournaments. 

During his time at Keene State, Quinn also was a color commentator for the Pittsfield Suns (FCBL) for two seasons where he was able to provide background about the players while directing live tweets during the game. Quinn has an extensive broadcasting background being a broadcast intern at the College of the Holy Cross and a public address announcer at Becker College on top of his Bachelor’s in Communications with a Broadcast and Media Concentration and minor in Writing from Worcester State University.

Quinn received his master's degree in Sports Leadership and Coaching from Western New England in December, 2023. He is a Westfield, Massachusetts native.
