Jay Weber

Weber arrives at Western New England for his 20th season in the NCAA. Weber will serve as the Sprints, Hurdles and JumpsĀ Coach at WNE for the inaugural season.

Weber had an impressive 5 years at WPI helping both men and women's team to their first ever NEWMAC Conference Championship in 2021 and again for the women in 2022. Also helping place 9th in the NCAA National Championship in 2022 the highest in school history.Ā  While at WPI Weber coached seven school records. Women's Indoor and outdoor Long jump (5.88m and 6.06m ) and outdoor Triple Jump (11.66m). On the men's side Weber saw records for Indoor and Outdoor Pole Vault (4.98m and 5.06m), Heptathlon (4516) and the Indoor Triple Jump (14.01m).Ā  Weber landed 76 athletes on the top 10 all time Jumpers list. Weber coached 4 All Americans including a national runner up in the long jump and a 7th place finish, 3 men’s all Americans in the pole vault. Ā As well as Multiple New England and All New England Champions.Ā Ā 

Prior to WPI Weber Spent 13 years at Westfield State University, coaching men’s and women’s school record holders in the pole vault with jumps of 5.01m and 3.90m. Weber also has coached 32 men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor pole vault champions, including the conference record holders in both the men's and women’s indoor and outdoor championships. In all, he coached 10 NCAA qualifiers and NCAA All-Americans in the pole vaultĀ men's outdoor, men's indoor and women’s outdoor. As well as the Women’s 400m (indoor), 400 Hurdles, Steeple and the men's Decathlon.Ā  Weber oversawĀ  MASCAC Conference, New England , All New England, All-ECAC honors and champions. Ā
