Jennah Brennan joins the Western New England women's wrestling staff as an assistant coach for the 2023–24 season.
Brennan has had a decorated wrestling career with a lengthy list of accolades. Brennan's accomplishments include being an eight-time All-American and a four-time Fargo All-American (the only female in the state of Massachusetts to be a four-time Fargo All-American). Brennan also placed fourth in the 2011 FILA Cadet Pan American Championships Team USA Women's Freestyle 56kg and also placed second at the Puerto Rico Copa Sparta Freestyle Championships. For her numerous accomplishments, Brennan was invited to both the US Olympic Training and Education Centers.
Brennan, no stranger to coaching, began her career in coaching wrestling at Hilltown Community Youth Wrestling from 2012–2015. Brennan also coached nearby SABIS School youth wrestling from 2015 to 2016. While focusing on wrestling, Brennan also began practicing and coaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, where she has earned a blue belt in the craft.
Brennan, a 2019 graduate of Western New England University, received her degree in biomedical engineering and went on to receive a master's in engineering management from Southern New Hampshire University and Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2020. Currently, Brennan works as an engineering project manager for OFS Optics, located in Avon, Connecticut.
