Ryan Monteiro enters his second stint as an assistant wrestling coach after previously serving as an assistant coach during the 2021-2022 season where he helped coach Nicholas Arborio to a 7^th place finish at the 2022 NCAA National Championships. As a student athlete for the Golden Bears, Monteiro owned a 60-12 record and was a 2x NCAA Qualifier, 2x Scholar All American and NWCA All American at 157lbs.
