KRISTY KEHOSS HONORED AS THE WESTERN NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE FEMALE ATHLETE-OF-THE-WEEK

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. â€" Sophomore Kristy Kehoss (Cheshire, CT) was honored Tuesday (Mar. 23) as the Western New England College Female Athlete-of-the-Week.

Kehoss, in her first year as the starting shortstop, hit .350 (7-for-20) in eight games at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic in Fort Myers, Florida.

She had three runs and two RBI along with a pair of two-hit performances against Salem State College in the season opener and Wheaton College.

Western New England College posted a 2-6 record during its spring break trip after dropping three contests by a single run.
