Western New England College's women's volleyball team closed out the home portion of its regular season with a 3-0 win over Framingham State Thursday night in the Alumni Healthful Living Center. The game scores were 31-29, 30-26, and 30-24.
Alexander, the only senior on the team, had seven digs and five aces to help the Golden Bears even their record at 12-12.
Sophomore Kim Bezio (Plattsburgh, NY) also had a big game finishing with 21 kills. Junior Amy Lorinovich (Hampstead, NH) and sophomore Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) added 12 and 11 kills, respectively, while freshman Marissa DiSimoni (Pittsfield, MA) contributed 48 assists.
