SPRINGFIELD, Mass. â€" Sophomore forward Sharon Simoncelli (Litchfield, CT) led a balanced scoring attack with 14 points to lead Western New England College to an easy 76-29 win over visiting Rivier College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game.

Sophomore guard Christine Aldrich (Montpelier, VT) added career highs of 12 points and nine rebounds while sophomore center Kerri Sullivan (Cumberland, RI) had a double double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Twelve players scored points for the Golden Bears who improved their record to 16-6 overall and 9-2 in the conference.

Freshman forward Amy Rumore (Manchester, NH) led the Raiders (1-21, 0-11) with nine points and 11 rebounds.
