SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - With junior Ed Fallon (Springfield, MA) and senior Dave Stelmach (Raynham, MA) leading the way, Western New England College defeated Suffolk University 7-2 in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match for its fourth consecutive victory.
The Golden Bears improved their record to 7-8 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
Fallon and Stelmach won their No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches, respectively, and teamed to take an exciting victory in their No. 1 doubles match.
Junior John D'Addona (Oakville, CT) also came through with a hard-fought win at the No. 6 singles spot.
