Colby Esposito and
Kyle Poccia were bested by Salve's Jude Neven and Max Varian, 6
-3. WNE took the third doubles pairing, as
Nolan Jermain and
Michel Abizaid Nunez defeated Ryan Gordon and Colin Fleet by a score of 6-3, leaving the doubles point down to the second doubles position, where Salve Regina's Kole Pinto and Luca Testa took down
Quinn Northrop and
Eston Fowler, giving the Seahawks a 1-0 lead in the match.
In singles play,
Connor Lord,
Nolan Jermain, and
Eston Fowler were all bested in straight sets, as Salve Regina clinched the win in the match overall rather quickly. The Golden Bears saw a victory come in the fifth singles position when
Kyle Poccia defeated Colin Fleet on a 6-3, 7-6 (3) score to put the Golden Bears on the scoreboard. WNE couldn't find a win in either of the top singles positions, seeing
Colby Esposito and
Quinn Northrop both fall, as the Golden Bears were defeated by a final score of 6-1 on the afternoon.
