Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Despite a two-hour rain delay, No. 23 Western New England College remained the only unbeaten team in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament with a 10-0 victory over Suffolk in a game called after five innings because of the mercy rule.

Freshman third base player Meredith Pacelli (Hamden, CT) belted a two-run homer that gave the Golden Bears a 2-0 lead in the second. Freshman designated player Jess Dickson (Bow, NH) followed with a two-run shot in the third. Both players finished with two hits and three runs-batted-in.
Senior second base player Sarah Moisao (Harwinton, CT), junior left-fielder Jen Piorkowski (Trumbull, CT), and freshman right-fielder Allison Glassick (Guilford, CT) also had two hits for the Golden Bears who improved their record to 36-3.
