TROY, N.Y. - Western New England College's women's volleyball team downed St. Joseph (Conn.) 3-0 in a first round match of the Russell Sage Tournament Friday. The game scores were 30-19, 30-20, and 30-26.

Junior Amy Lorinovich (Hampstead, NY) led the Golden Bears with 12 kills while sophomore Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) had 10 kills and eight service aces. Freshman Marissa DiSimoni (Pittsfield, MA) added 34 assists.

Western New England College (8-7) will meet Massachusetts College and host Russell Sage in action Saturday.
