SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College women's volleyball team kept its unbeaten mark intact in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Saturday (Sept. 30) with a pair of 3-0 victories over Albertus Magnus (30-18, 30-5, 30-5) and Daniel Webster (30-20, 30-19, 30-17).
Senior setter Jess Vogel (Tonawanda, NY) had 67 assists in the matches, including 36 vs. Daniel Webster.
Senior outside hitter Amy Lorinovich (Hampstead, NH) had seven aces in the wins along with 13 kills against Daniel Webster.
Junior outside hitter Kayte Devine (New Fairfield, CT) contributed 10 kills against Albertus Magnus while freshman outside hitter Rachel Cervone (West Springfield, MA) had 11 digs against DWC.
Western New England College now has an overall record of 10-7 and remains in first place in the GNAC with a 5-0 mark.
