PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Western New England College couldn't capitalize on its power play opportunities in suffering a 4-0 loss at Johnson & Wales University Saturday night (Jan. 27) in an ECAC Northeast men's hockey game

The Golden Bears were 0-for-10 on the power play in falling to 7-11 overall and 1-9 in the conference.

After a scoreless first period, the Wildcats (9-8-1) tallied three goals on the power play in the second stanza and added a short-handed goal in the final period.

Western New England College junior goalie Brandon Gervais (Lewiston, ME) finished with 41 saves. Charlie Bacon stopped 20 shots in gaining the shutout for Johnson & Wales. Matt McGilvary had the last three goals for the Wildcats.
