SPRINGFIELD, Mass. –The Western New England College women's tennis team secured fourth place in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) with a 9-0 victory over visiting Curry Saturday (Oct. 13) during Family & Friends Weekend.

The Golden Bears captured every match in straight sets to finish the regular season with a 10-4 record, which included a 7-3 mark in the TCCC.

It also was Senior Day as Meredith Hughes (Springfield, MA), Devon Masse (Southbridge, MA), Sara Peck (Monroe, CT), Kim Predella (Sturbridge, MA), and Aimee Schapp (Torrington, CT) were honored before the contest.

Western New England College will host a quarterfinal match of the conference tournament on Tuesday (Oct. 16).
