SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Western New England College women's volleyball team posted its 10th shutout of the season with a 3-0 non conference victory over visiting Framingham State Thursday evening (Oct. 18) at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

The game scores were 30-18, 30-26, and 30-28.

Senior outside hitter Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) led the Golden Bears with 14 kills and six digs.

Freshman middle blocker Lauren Landri (New Canaan, CT) added nine kills while freshman setter Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) contributed 28 assists.

Western New England College raises its record to 18-7 heading into Saturday's outings against host Connecticut College and Eastern Connecticut.

Freshman libero Allison Appleman (Hyannis, MA) led the Rams (13-12) with 10 digs with freshman middle blocker Ashley Trudeau (Rockland, MA) compiling seven kills.
