SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman setter Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) dished out 30 assists to lead the Western New England College women's volleyball team to an easy 3-0 victory over visiting Regis College Wednesday (Oct. 24) at the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

The game scores were 30-14, 30-13, and 30-23.

Before the match, the Golden Bears honored co-captains Kayte Devine (New Fairfield, CT) and Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) during its “Senior Night” celebration.

O'Keefe, an outside hitter, added 14 digs on her special evening while junior libero Lizzie Manor (Black River, NY) contributed 10 digs.

Devine has missed most of the season with an injury, but remains an important part of the squad. She serves as president of the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Western New England College raises its record to 20-8 overall and 4-4 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC).

Sophomore middle hitter Melissa Federique (Manchester, NH) had six kills and junior middle hitter Sam Reyes (Attleboro, MA) six digs for the Pride (9-18, 1-7 TCCC).
