WENHAM, Mass. – Junior Blakely Burns (Laguna Beach, CA) set a school record with her 105th career ace as third-seeded Gordon posted a 3-1 victory over sixth-seeded Western New England College in a quarterfinal match of The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Women's Volleyball Tournament Tuesday night (Oct. 30).

The game scores were 30-26, 30-23, 28-30, and 30-21.

Senior Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) led WNEC with a match-high 25 kills while freshman setter Katharina Boes (Biffalo Grove, IL) compiled 44 assists.

The Fighting Scots (23-10) advance to the conference tournament semifinals on Thursday (Nov. 1) at second-seeded Colby-Sawyer.

Western New England College perhaps winds up the best season in school history with a 22-9 record.
