MARLBORO, Mass. - Becker College scored twice in the final period for a 4-2 victory over visiting Western New England College Wednesday evening (Dec. 5) in a non-league men's hockey contest at the New England Sports Center.

The Hawks improved their record to 4-3 while the Golden Bears ended their first semester of action with a 0-10-1 mark.

Michael Hebert and Jim Ceglarek scored goals in a 49-second span to give Becker a 2-0 lead at 7:28 of the opening period.

Junior Mike Majesty (Chicago, IL) put the Golden Bears on the board with a power play score just 2:08 later.

Freshman Kyle Daly (Auburn, MA) tied the contest with another power play goal at 6:05 of the second period with assists from junior Phil Lamy (Manchester, NH) and freshman Alex Gorczyca (Columbus, IN).

Brad Jones and Hebert then netted goals in the final period as Becker out-shot WNEC by a 14-6 margin in the period.
