SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Western New England College men's tennis team opened its Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) season on a positive note with a solid 6-3 victory over visiting Suffolk University Saturday (Mar. 31).
Junior Peter Houser (Longmeadow, MA) and sophomore Connor Fallon (Springfield, MA) led the Golden Bears by winning their respective singles matches and then teaming to post a victory at the number three doubles spot.
Coach Doug Pearson's team is now 3-1 overall heading into a match Monday (weather permitting) at Nichols.
