WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Western New England College women's volleyball team continued its winning ways with an easy 3-0 non conference victory over host St. Joseph College Thursday night (Sept. 13).

The game scores were 30-21, 30-7, and 30-27.

Coach Charlie Haer's squad now has a 9-1 record, which is the best start in the program's history.

Senior co-captain Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) led the attack with 15 kills while freshman Marci Egbert (Wayne, NJ) contributed five service aces. Freshman Samantha Shomo (Glen Gardner, NJ) added nine kills and three blocks.

Saturday (Sept. 15), Western New England College makes its The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) debut against Wentworth Institute of Technology and Roger Williams in Bristol, Rhode Island.
