BRISTOL, R.I. - The Western New England College women's volleyball team made a successful showing in its inaugural The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) match by posting a 3-0 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology Saturday (Sept. 15).

The game scores were 30-22, 30-24, 30-26.

WNEC made a nice comeback in its next match before finally dropping a 3-2 decision to host Roger Williams University by the scores of 30-26, 30-13, 28-30, 27-30, and 15-13.

RWU beat WIT 3-0 (30-27, 30-21, 30-19) in the other match of the afternoon.

The Golden Bears now have a 10-2 record.
