BOSTON, Mass. - Western New England College had little trouble with host Emerson rolling to an easy 3-0 victroy in a non conference women's volleyball match Wednesday evening (Sept. 19). The game scores were 30-24, 30-7, and 30-14.

Sophomore Rachel Cervone (West Springfield, MA) led the way with nine kills and two blocks while freshman Samantha Shomo (Glen Gardner, NJ) added nine digs and eight kills.

Also contributing were sophomore Christina Longto (Kingston, NY) who compiled seven kills and four blocks and freshman Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) who had 36 assists and three blocks.

Western New England College improves its record to 11-2 under second-year coach Charlie Haer.
