SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – Freshman Katharina Boes (Buffalo Grove, IL) had 34 assists and five kills to lead the Western New England College women's volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over host Mount Holyoke Saturday afternoon (Sept. 22) in a non league match at the Mildred Howard Gymnasium.

The game scores were 30-9, 30-20, 28-30, and 30-22.

Senior Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) contributed 23 kills while freshman Samantha Shomo (Glen Gardner, NJ) added 10 kills.

Freshman Lauren Strick (Harrisville, RI) chipped-in with 14 assists as the Golden Bears upped their record to 12-2.

Mount Holyoke received nine kills and 13 digs from junior Chelsea Tracy (St. Thomas, VI) while sophomore Teresa Campbell (Williamsburg, VA) had eight kills. The Lyons fall to 2-4.
