SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Western New England College women's volleyball team had little trouble with visiting Anna Maria posting a 3-0 victory Thursday evening (Sept. 27) in the Alumni Healthful Living Center.

The game scores were 30-10, 30-14, and 30-9.

Freshman Samantha Shomo (Glen Gardner, NJ) led the Golden Bears with nine kills and seven of the team's 22 service aces.

Senior Ashley O'Keefe (South Dennis, MA) also compiled nine kills while sophomore Christina Longto (Kingston, NY) contributed seven kills.

Western New England College raises its record to 14-2 and 2-1 in the conference.

The Amcats remain winless at 0-7 (0-3 in TCCC).
