SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Roger Wiliams women's tennis team remained unbeated in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) with an 8-1 victory over host Western New England College Saturday afternoon (Sept. 29).

The visiting Hawks won five of six singles matches and all three doubles flights to raise their record to 7-1 overall and 6-0 in the conference.

Western New England College senior Meredith Hughes (Springfield, MA) posted a win at the No. 1 singles position after taking a 10-point tie-breaker.

The Golden Bears drop to 4-3 overall and 4-2 in TCCC.
