Junior forward Jason Remsbecker (Farmingdale, NY) put the Golden Bears ahead again with a short-handed score (his first of the season) at the 2:46 mark of the third period. The assists went to senior left wing Nick Sampson (Reading, MA) and senior defenseman Nick Klassen (Parker, CO).

Franklin Pierce (4-12, 2-8 ECAC Northeast) against knotted the contest when junior Jay Stempniak (West Seneca, NY) scored at the 11:03 mark.

Each team was skating a man-down in the extra session when Longley ended things with his goal, which was assisted by junior defenseman Chris Gillman (Wingdale, NY).

Freshman goalie Justin Richards (Somers, CT) finished with 21 saves in his second college start while freshman Jeremy Rossignolo (Rochester, NY) stopped 14 shots for the Ravens.
