MILTON, Mass. - The Western New England College women's tennis team coasted to a 7-2 victory over host Curry Friday afternoon to move over the .500 mark for the first time this season in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC).

This was the sixth consecutive win for the Golden Bears who are 6-4 overall and 4-3 in the conference.

Freshman Nicole DeSimone (Feeding Hills, MA) led the way by capturing her No. 2 singles flight as WNEC took five singles matches in straight sets.

Curry's wins came at both the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions. The Colonels fall to 3-8 overall and 1-5 in TCCC.
