Box Score KEENE, N.H. - Senior forward Tyler Kathan (Ludlow, VT) had 12 points and 10 rebounds and freshman forward Derek D'Amours (Agawam, MA) also scored 12 points to lead host Keene State to an 88-56 win over Western New England College in a non-league men's basketball contest Tuesday night (Nov. 25).
The Owls led by nine at half-time (35-26) and outscored the Golden Bears 53-30 in the second half.
Freshman guard Ryan Bourgeois (Bedford, NH) added eight points and 10 assists as Keene State upped its record to 3-2.
Western New England College (1-3) had three players scoring in double figures led by sophomore center Michael Kennedy (Newtown, CT) with 14 points and seven rebounds.
Senior forward Kyle Fredette (Wallingford, VT) posted his second straight double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds while sophomore guard Andre Duncan (Bronx, NY) netted 10 points.
Keene State shot 45% from the field while WNEC managed to make only 36% of its field goal attempts. The Owls made nine three-pointers, the Golden Bears only one.
